Theresa Kim is a program manager in UW-Madison’s Office of Human Resources (OHR). She manages, facilitates and coaches a leadership program for the Learning and Talent Development (LTD) titled Fully Prepared to Lead. This competency program, based on the Leadership@UW Leadership Framework, stands on the belief that leadership is an action, not a position. She combines leadership skill building, connecting leaders from across campus in rich conversations, and coaching in this robust and impactful program.

Building Resilience
There are tangible ways you can improve your resilience. Research shows that the variables that make up resilience can actually be strengthened. Build the variable, you build your resilience. In this workshop, we will go over these variables and look at strategies to use for each one.
Mindful Doodling
Mindfulness is a proven strategy for creating more calm and reducing stress. While meditation isn’t for everyone, everyone can doodle! Doodling used as a mindfulness tool doesn’t take itself too seriously, and exactly because of that can be hugely beneficial. Several doodling varieties will be demonstrated.
