Graduate Student
UW-Madison Department of Astronomy
Talia O’Shea is a graduate student at UW-Madison using simulations to model AGN jets emerging from supermassive black holes. She is interested in how these jets affect their host galaxies, producing radio mode feedback and inhibiting star formation. Before coming to UW-Madison, she studied Astrophysics and History at Wellesley College in Massachusetts, where she researched galaxy clusters with the IllustrisTNG simulation.
