Dr. Goldberg is an Associate Professor in the Department of Counseling Psychology and Core Faculty at the Center for Healthy Minds at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He conducts research on psychotherapy, with a specific emphasis on the effects of and mechanisms underlying meditation- and mindfulness-based interventions. His current work is exploring methods for scaling well-being through digital technology.

There are too few healthcare providers to address the current mental health crisis. I explore our work testing the Healthy Minds Program meditation app. I discuss how this technology may evolve through incorporating advanced statistical techniques like artificial intelligence to create more effective, efficient, and inclusive methods to promote well-being.
