Dr. Ryan Tsuchida is the Assistant Dean for Multicultural Affairs for Health Professions Learners, a board-certified emergency medicine physician, and an assistant professor at the BerbeeWalsh Department of Emergency Medicine at the School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Tsuchida has a wealth of experience, scholarship, and expertise in equitable and inclusive organization leadership experience ranging from pathway program development, medical student and health professions student support, and quality improvement initiatives in both the clinical and education arenas. His peers elected him to serve nationally as the Secretary-Treasurer for SAEM’s ADIEM Executive Committee. And in recognizing his impact, he has received many awards including recently being named one of “Wisconsin’s Most Influential Asian American Leaders” by Madison365.
