Talks:
Empowering Survivors of Tech-Facilitated Intimate Partner Abuse
Abusive intimate partners are increasingly using technology to spy on, stalk, and harass their victims. Survivors, advocates who work with them, and law enforcement struggle to cope with this new type of power and control tactic, and support survivors appropriately. In collaboration with local Domestic Violence support organizations in WI, we developed Madison Tech Clinic (MTC) where survivors through out the Wisconsin can obtain personalized, confidential, and free support for technology-facilitated abuse.
