Dr. Mahua Dey is a neurosurgeon-scientist, a leading expert in developing innovative personalized immunotherapy for brain cancer and director of the surgical neuro-oncology program in the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr Dey’s innovative approach to brain tumor treatment involves combining advanced surgical techniques with cutting edge personalized immunotherapy. Her research work focuses on developing personalized therapeutic cancer vaccine that teaches one’s own immune system to identify hidden residual cancer cells after surgery and kill the cancer cells while also boosting age related immune dysfunction. She is also very passionate about teaching and developing future generation of physician scientists.
