Institute for Biology Education
Kevin Niemi is an Outreach Program Manager with the Institute for Biology Education. He has served on numerous national science education committees with the National Science Teachers Association and the National Science Education Leadership Association and in Wisconsin with the Wisconsin Society of Science Teachers including most recently as the WSST President from 2011–13. He is a co-author on a book scheduled for publication in the spring of 2014 on the Next Generation Science Standards and related professional development activities for teachers. He also had made eight trips to Thailand to work the Thai Ministry of Education and several Thai universities on science education reform.
