Jung is a faculty associate in the Department of Political Science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her research interests lie in the field of comparative politics and include Political Islam, social movements, politics of Indonesia, and politics of Korea. Jung teaches classes on ‘Islam and World Politics’ and ‘Politics of East and Southeast Asia.’ She serves on the Steering Committee for the Center for Southeast Asian Studies, and is affiliated with the Center for East Asian Studies and the Middle Eastern Studies Program.
