Dave Schroeder (SHRAY-der) is the Director of National Security Initiatives at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Dave is a subject matter expert on cyber and national security issues. He also serves as an Cyber Warfare Officer and Military Intelligence Officer in the Wisconsin Army National Guard, and previously served as a Cryptologic Warfare Officer in the United States Navy. He holds graduate degrees in Cybersecurity Policy and Information Warfare, and is graduate of the Naval Postgraduate School, Naval War College, and Joint Forces Staff College. He also serves as Research Director for the Wisconsin Security Research Consortium.
