Cathy is a Professor of Community Resource Development and an Environmental Outreach State Specialist for the University of Wisconsin-Extension.
She specializes in environmental interpretation, communication, and leadership development that make environmental issues “come alive” for youth and adult audiences.

  • Learn how to make the issue of climate change “come alive” by linking place-based evidence and indigenous ecological knowledge, and quantitative “western” science, no matter the culture or location. By relating climate change to cultural and economic people value, we can raise awareness with the goal of provoking climate action.
