I use advanced imaging techniques to study how neural stem cells build and repair the brain. By working with transparent fish and fruit flies, I explore how brain cells change shape, divide, and regenerate, with the goal of unlocking new ways to treat brain injuries and diseases.

Talks:

Building Brains with Stem Cells

Explore how neural stem cells build and repair the brain using advanced imaging in fruit flies and transparent fish. I reveal how these cells organize resources, produce neurons, and support brain regeneration. These insights deepen our understanding of brain development and could inform future approaches to treating brain injuries and diseases.
