Wisconsin Athletics
Wisconsin Athletics is excited to Book It With Bucky through their summer literacy program! The program includes UW student-athlete reading events for youth at Wisconsin libraries to foster a love of reading and is supported through a gift from the James and Sue Patterson Foundation.
The visits also include complimentary distribution of Bucky READ posters and children’s books in collaboration with 2nd & 7, whose nonprofit mission is to promote reading by providing free books and positive role models to kids in need while encouraging young athletes of the community to pay it forward.
A limited number of visits are available on weekdays in June and July. One request per library. Sign up closes Friday, July 24 or until all available visits have been filled.
