Ruben Mota serves as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Coordinator, collaborating and coordinating with university partners to ensure UW–Madison is continually striving for access and inclusivity for individuals with disabilities. Ruben has been advocating for disability rights and inclusion for over twenty years across topics ranging from inclusive design, disability identity, digital and physical accessibility, service and assistance animals, and reasonable accommodations.
Ruben is a member of the National ADA Trainer Leadership Network (TLN) in association with the Great Lakes ADA Center. The ADA TLN is a network of skilled trainers seeking to make change in their communities by providing education on disability awareness and the ADA to stakeholders in their communities using a basic curriculum vetted by the ADA National Network.
