Ryan Owens is the Director of the Tommy G. Thompson Center on Public Leadership, a Professor of Political Science, and Affiliate Faculty in the Law School. Owens studies law and courts and American political institutions. His work analyzes the United States Supreme Court, the United States Courts of Appeals, legal institutions, and judicial behavior.
Professor Owens discusses the recent evolution of the United States Supreme Court. How did the modern Court get to where it is today? He will talk about current cases and the sitting justices. He offers comments on where the Court seems to be headed.
