Peter Favreau is a recent Madison transplant, having completed his Ph.D. in Biophotonics from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Alabama. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the Morgridge Institute for Research in Madison from 2016 to 2019. There, Dr. Favreau worked on developing cancer drug screening approaches using microscopy. In July 2019, he took a position as the Director of the Biochemistry Optical Core, in the Department of Biochemistry, where he assists researchers across Madison with their microscopy experiments.
